Votes after each count
- Each line is one candidate's votes after every count: blue lines are elected, grey lines are not elected; the names at the right are the elected candidates.
- A dot marks the count at which a candidate was elected, a cross marks an exclusion, and the dashed line is the quota.
- Hover to compare candidates at a count, click a line or a name at the right to select that candidate (the bar at the top then offers the candidate box), and click a count number under the chart to open that count.
- "Pick out a detail" highlights one group or colours the lines by a detail; "Show only elected candidates" removes the lines of those not elected.
Transfers at the selected count
- The bar on the left is the vote being moved, and each band shows how much went to which candidate; the grey band is votes that could not be transferred; the notes below are the count record, one sentence each.
- Use the arrows to step through the counts, click a count number under the chart above to open its full detail, or use "Open count details".
- "Show beside names" adds details next to each name, a tick marks a candidate elected at this count.
Candidates
- The number before each name is the order of finishing, from first elected down to first excluded; the count shown below decides which candidates are marked as receiving votes.
- Each shows first preference votes, then final votes (0 if excluded), then the highest vote reached at any count, then the labels chosen and, in brackets, when the candidate was elected or excluded; at a count after the first, those who received votes at that count have a blue edge and a + figure.
- Click a name to open the candidate box, and click a row to hold its highlight across the charts and table.
The coloured label is the sexuality stance (dashed outline: less firm evidence).
Counts in order
- One row per count: what happened (the first preferences, an exclusion or a surplus), how many votes moved, how many could not be transferred, and who was elected at that count.
- The last three figures are the number of candidates elected so far, excluded so far and still in the count after that count.
- Click a count to open the count box; hover over a row for a short summary.
- Labels: W woman, M man; S sitting member, P past member, C co-opted member, N new to Synod; the coloured label is the sexuality stance (dashed outline: less firm evidence); IC Inclusive Candidates list; STP Save the Parish. Hover over a letter for its meaning.
Numbers as a table
- One row per candidate, ordered by first preferences; a tick marks the count at which a candidate was elected.
- Choose between the total votes held after each count and the change at each count; the selected count is shaded, and clicking a count number opens the full detail of that count.
- An x means the candidate was already elected or excluded, so no votes could be transferred to them; a dash means no change.
- The last row is the votes that could not be transferred, so its figure at the final count is the undistributed votes.
